RSS stands for Really Simple
Syndication. It is designed as a common standard to share, syndicate
and distribute digital content. RSS is a lightweight XML format. Originated
by UserLand in
1997. Since then, RSS has evolved, and it is now one of the most common
and popular means of sharing content between websites. Websites such
as the BBC, CNET, CNN, Disney, Forbes, Motley Fool, Wired, Red Herring,
Salon, Slashdot, ZDNet, and more all offer their content via RSS feed.
RSS is also offered as a 'standard' feature among most
'blogging' services.
If your website does not yet offer your content via
RSS, you are missing a lot of the business opportunities. Contact
us and we will help you create your RSS content channel.
